Description
This Acti9 C60PV-DC is a low voltage miniature circuit breaker (MCB) dedicated to multi string photovoltaic installations. It is a 2P circuit breaker with 2 protected poles, 16A rated current and B tripping curve. It can be mounted on DIN rail for modular installation. Its width is 8 modules of 9mm. As circuit breaker, its breaking capacity, according to IEC/EN 60947-2, is 1.5kA at 800VDC and 3kA at 650VDC. It is designed to protect the cables located between each string of photovoltaic modules and the photovoltaic inverter against overloads and short circuits. It has an IP40 degree of protection (as per IEC/EN 60529) on its terminals in modular enclosure. Its fast closing mechanism, independent of the speed of actuation of the toggle, improves its service life. The tripping or position indication functions are remotely provided by adding electrical auxiliaries. The presence of the green strip guarantees physical opening of the contacts and allows operations to be performed on the downstream circuit in complete safety.
